Zakat Calculator

2.5% Zakat on cash, gold, silver, investments, business stock & receivables — minus debts.

Zakat = 2.5% of net zakatable assets held for one lunar year, when at or above nisab. This is a general estimate — for complex cases (agriculture, livestock, mixed assets) please consult a scholar.

How it works: Zakat is 2.5% of your zakatable wealth held for one lunar year, payable when your net assets reach the nisab threshold. Add everything you own that counts (cash, gold and silver at market value, investments, business inventory, money others owe you), then subtract what you owe.

Nisab: the value of 52.5 tola silver (or 7.5 tola gold) — scholars commonly use the lower silver nisab so more people qualify to give. The default above uses the silver rate of 6 Oct 2026; update it if rates change.
